Reflection and Meditation

1. How does it encourage you to know that even a devout and dedicated Christian such as Paul struggled with his sinful nature?

2. One of the biggest problems in our churches today is that we sometimes tend to be spiritual bottle-rockets. We catch fire and burst forward only to poof out and fall back down to where we were. What are some things we can do to make sure we don't fall victim to this?

3. What is a passage of scripture that means a lot to you or that helped you through a difficult time in your life? Write it down and thank God that Word stands the test of time!

4. Referencing Romans 12, what do you think it means to give your body as a “living and holy sacrifice?”

5. What are some things in your life that make spending time in prayer difficult? What are some things you can begin to do now to eliminate those obstacles?

6. Spend at least 5 minutes every day this week sitting in silence waiting for God to speak. Then do what He tells you to do!
