This week, we have discussed issues like the price and prize of patience, growing desperate for Jesus, the possibility of the impossible, the joy of being a nobody, and the value of simple spiritual truths.
With that in mind, reflect and meditate on the following questions:
1. Have you ever felt like God was laying aside your problems and taking care of others all the time? How does it make you feel? In what ways can you begin seeing these interruptions as opportunities for patience? To you believe God is faithful to those you endure to the end?
2. Remember back to the time you first called out in desperation to Jesus. Reflect on all your thoughts and feelings. Now pray and thank God for restoring you. Ask him to help you remember that time and stay that hungry for Him and His word.
3. Do you truly believe that “with God, all things are possible?” If so, write down 3 things you consider impossible and begin praying for the impossible to become possible. (No lottery prayers, please.)
4. Describe how the people closest to you have responded to your life-change. If their attitude is negative, what are some steps you may take to share Jesus with them?
5. Read Mark 6:8 again. “Don’t think you need a lot of extra equipment for this. You are the equipment.” (The Message). Your thoughts?
