Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
I came across this not long ago. And it caused to stop reading and pray. May it do the same for you-
“You see, the secret is that we carry the unknown with us wherever we go. It comes up in the middle of a conversation with our mates, or when rappelling down a cliff, or a thousand other times during the day. If we avoid this edge and its unknown, our lives become filled with blind spots- times when we are anxiously waiting for the unknown to pass. Its then that we may turn on the television or drink alcohol or take drugs or read a book or do any one of a thousand things to avoid this unknown that makes up much of our lives…We can use anything to keep us out of the unknown, but if you want to know GOD fully, you must go there…Many religious people, evangelists, scholars, and mystics go to the edge, and then they use the Scriptures or their knowledge and concepts of GOD to keep them from going over the edge into the unknown GOD…But it is an act of faith, of true and deep love, to let go and fall into the face of GOD.”
