Hebrews 10:22-25 (NLT)
Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
After three months of mouth watering anticipation (of the spiritual variety), we’ve come to the end of the Back to the Basics devotions. All of the writing, Scriptures, stories, quips, and quotes have led to this moment, this conclusion, the solution promised us by John (the Pastor, not the Baptist). And it is this: will you answer the call, will you commit to accomplishing the Gospel and the vision of Refuge Church, will you-
1. Passionately seek a relationship with Jesus Christ
2. Grow and mature as part of a spiritual body
3. Reach the least, lost, and broken with the Gospel
4. Become a living, breathing church in the community
Praise Yahweh for taking us through this series and giving us the Solution. Prayerfully ask him to help you as you undertake this vision in your life. And watch in awe as God moves amongst his people.
